Nationwide Conference, the top teams of which are promoted

Each
year English clubs compete for the FA Cup, the oldest
domestic cup competition in the world. Over 600 teams compete
for the FA Cup making for some of the most exciting
matches in the football calendar. A domestic league cup is
also contested over the season.
Scotland
also has a strong league structure, contesting four leagues
too.

These
leagues are smaller than their English counterparts. Scotland
also has two cup competitions to compete for.
