international football scene provides the largest and most
thrilling football events in the world. Undoubtedly the jewel
in the crown is the World Cup, held every four years,
but other international competitions such as the European
Championships, the African Nations Cup and the
Copa America bring almost as much excitement.

on the tournament may be a bit premature at this stage. However,
it is difficult to see past the big teams such as Brazil,
France, Argentina and the Netherlands for
the tournament. My heart however, says "Come
